If my memory serves me correct, the 1989 Cowboys under JJ were undefeated in preseason and posted a mind boggling 1-15 during the regular season........... The Eagles rested all of their starters for the last preseason game against the Jets The bottom line: Preseason means diddly squat................I believe one day it will be either shortened or eliminated due to the NFL's wish to expand the regular season to 18 games.
