Yes, I remember... he referred to those Saudi Islamic fundamentalist murderers as "martyrs who died for a good cause"... how could anyone forget what he said... where is SI? Are there any limits to the tolerance of terrorist loving posters?

LPS5, you'd sent me the link to that post of Ray's recently(this summer, I think), along with other of his gems earlier. When was it removed...I'd read it with some interest? Way to go, it looks like you started something and had an effect, even if I'd kinda like it if it were still here, myself. The numerous replies to it were worthy, and I can't imagine how to find the linked replies to his now missing post.

Removing his post is a bit like banning books by our enemies. Common wisdom, I always thought, is that we need to allow the enemy to speak and write, thus seeing how he thinks in order to remember, understand, and never repeat old mistakes.

Rather than return Ray's post to the threads here(I'm little bothered in Ray's case, I'm prejudiced..ggg), I'd suggest that SI include a link for the original replies(which normally still exist after a post is removed) on the "this post is missing" page(then I could find them easily, if interested). That'd be better.
