Yes, everything you know about your wife may be (as you said)...NOTHING. It is true that all information we receive is "interpreted", and thus is a guess based on reasonable assumptions of science and logic.

Science does not claim to know anything and neither should you. It is enough that you make reasonable inferences based on the information available to you.
