JEB,

You really might want to put things into perspective. The U.S. Government is the greatest state terrorist of our age. In comparison, Saddam is a kindergartner.

From your post:

IRAQ’S NUCLEAR PROGRAMME

Opposed to the slight possibility that Saddam has a weapon, the U.S. has well over 7,000 nuclear tipped missiles at the ready to destroy anyone foolish enough to attack us.

**********************
IRAQ’S BIOLOGICAL & CHEMICAL WEAPONS

The U.S. military has the world's largest, most aggressively conceived BCW infrastructure in the world, by several orders of magnitude. The new budget increase alone for U.S. biochem warfare research is $4.9 Billion for FY 2003. This is more than the entire Iraqi defense budget!
Who's the threat here?

***************************
IRAQ’S BALLISTIC MISSILES

The U.S. maintain an extraordinary advantage in this area. There is absolutely no proof that Saddam has any capability beyond some crude Scud Missiles.

****************************
IRAQ’s USE OF WEAPONS OF MASS DESTRUCTION & WAR RECORD

The U.S. Government was providing aid and abetting Saddam at the time that he was gassing the Kurds in northern Iraq and the Iranians during the 1980's. We are total hypocrites to have supported his chemical warfare then, and call for his removal for the same now.

War record? How about the remarkable list of over 200 incursions into foreign sovereign states affairs by the U.S. Government since 1946. Assassinations, death squads, military aid, training for dicators at the Escuela des Golpes, School of Coups (aka SOA), and trading with the enemy ala Iran-Contra...... You want to talk about a war record? Then let's talk about that of the U.S. Government. It's awesomely more troublesome than Saddam's little petty provincial prevarications.

IRAQ’S SUPPORT FOR TERRORISM:

See above, Escuela Des Golpes. Contras. Arbenz assassination in Guatemala, Allende assassination in Chile, Mossadeq removal in Iran. Multple other dirty tricks operations.

BREAKING FREE FROM THE SHACKLES: IRAQ’S TRADE RECOVERY -

While the U.S. thinks the way to save Iraq is to bomb it back to the Stone Age, Russia has just signed a $40 Billion free trade agreement with Iraq. Which nation is the hypocrite here?

THE LEGALITIES OF UNILATERAL MILITARY ACTION

There are none, forget about it. We are proposing naked aggression, a war crime.
