Nice post Ike!!!

It conveys the realpolitik and relates American views on fighting the "war on terrorism"..

It's not about "hating muslims", nor does it mean the US proposes to colonize the Arab world...

What it's about is that, failing to achieve regional stability through indigenous political mechanisms, the US is drawing a line in the sand. "If they can't get their own house in order and achieve regional stability, we'll do it for them".

We'll reshape the political terrain as WE DEEM NECESSARY in order to prevent our national security from being threatened again.

And this is what I believe the Arab regimes fear most about unilateral action by the US and Britain.

But without such a threat to act having real meaning, there will be no motivation or impetus for these regimes to change.
