JB was watching Brian Westbrook today and started to think of another little fellow that looked excellent on the college level but he was called TOO small, will never last. The player that jumped to my mind was Joe Morris.
I just checked Joe Morris lifetime stats and see his career abruptly ended in 1988, but mysteriously he turns up 3 years later for one season for Cleveland.
But he put together two awesome years in 85 and 86 for Giants, and had 35 tds in those two years.
I can only surmise his fling in 91 was an attempt to comeback from a torn up knee or whatever.Max
