The part on Lincoln is fascinating. I did not realize just how close his control of his Generals was. He was "living" in the Telegraph Office. I will post some more when I finish it.

I was fascinated with the Lincoln stuff, too.

I'll be interested to see if you find the remaining chapters as interesting, the ones on Clemenceau, Churchill, and Ben Gurion. As I said before, I started flipping pages after a while, then slowed down again when I got to the Vietnam and Gulf War material.
