Saddam’s intent is for him to conquer and to have absolute power over all of his neighbors. Saddam is not a King, yet he builds palaces like a King. All true Kings and Princes are born and raised with the idea that the welfare and happiness of the Kingdom’s people is of paramount importance. Saddam proves that he does not care about the people by violating 17 U.N. resolutions, which lead to economic sanctions and hardship for Iraqi’s. He does not suffer in his palaces, so he does not care. Saddam is not a cleric. The paramount concern of a cleric is the welfare and happiness of the people according to the will of God. By invading other Islamic countries, Saddam proves he does not care about the Qur’an, because of his unjust attempts at conquest. Saddam is not a President. A President does not murder his political rivals in order to gain and maintain his personal power, at the expense of the welfare of an entire nation. Saddam loss of the Gulf War to proves he is a failed leader. He has proven that he is now unworthy of further mercy IMO. I am certain that when all Arabs and Persians have been fully informed, and have personally seen the evil deeds that Saddam has committed and ordered, they will be outraged if any further mercy is shown to this evil snake who has been living in their midst for so long. The reason I am absolutely certain, is because I know there is much wisdom among all Arabs and Persians. IC
