Thanks for the village detail Kid. On the speed, it won't be doubling in October. The 140K is the top speed, but normally, people will only get 70K, which is still not bad and 10x as fast as the useless and expensive GPRS.

As with Korean in the Great Asian Contagion of 1998, when people thought QUALCOMM was going to die and that Korea had sunk into the ocean, in fact, CDMA roared ahead and led the Korean economy out of the mire. They are now making a fortune from CDMA.

The same thing will happen on a global scale with the current economic mayhem. Communication is so fundamental to people that it'll be the last thing to go under [even after booze and baccy, the two other essential ingredients to life in recessions or depressions].
