I've greatly admire some of Iqbal's writings in the past. The two items you selected do seem to be of a different character from what I've grown used to. As far as debating him, I can't see a point to it.

As I recall, this present contretemps was started because I was making some high-toned argument about morality. I see from your post that this isn't part of your calculus. So be it.

OTOH, sometimes English seems a bit of a stretch for you, for instance here's your words, verbatim:

Uhhh, come again? I can't make heads or tails of that. My comment was that George Bush is hell-bent on an immoral military adventure for plunder that will entail the senseless murder of tens of thousands of innocents. Furthermore, that what he is proposing to do is a war crime and completely grounds for immediate impeachment.

I'm not sure what your point was.
