jj, I've greatly admire some of Iqbal's writings in the past. The two items you selected do seem to be of a different character from what I've grown used to. As far as debating him, I can't see a point to it. As I recall, this present contretemps was started because I was making some high-toned argument about morality. I see from your post that this isn't part of your calculus. So be it. OTOH, sometimes English seems a bit of a stretch for you, for instance here's your words, verbatim: would help if you actually read my words it would clarify your confusion....I say that there will be no "killing of tens of thousands of innocents by us...Saddam? He may and has. Uhhh, come again? I can't make heads or tails of that. My comment was that George Bush is hell-bent on an immoral military adventure for plunder that will entail the senseless murder of tens of thousands of innocents. Furthermore, that what he is proposing to do is a war crime and completely grounds for immediate impeachment. I'm not sure what your point was.
