In dealing with reality the Native American Indians seem to be on a comeback.

I read a news article (I think it was on the guy in link) about him during the 1980's. He described the arrival of the white man as the greatest trading opportunity ever for native Indians.

His "get up and go" attitude was partially learnt from watching the Germans, defeated after WW2, start cleaning off the bricks and rubble and rebuilding their cities.

As with the rest of the world. You can try and shut it out or you can see it for the opportunity it is.
