Sept. 6, 2002) and the Tri-Valley/Schlumberger/Dowell staffs are jubilant over the execution of the operation which put away 1.3 million pounds of sand at rates up to 8 tons per MINUTE! Three new items have emerged: 1). Recent analyses have disclosed nearly 11% greater formation porosity than previously calculated 2). The injector rate test revealed higher formation pressure than previously measured. 3). Injector testing revealed a greater number of natural fractures than known before. The preliminary conclusion is that the play may contain even more gas that will flow more easily than previously hoped for.
