I hope he was just exaggerating for effect.

CB, if you pulled that interview up on a "Google" as I think you did, you may have been tricked. I went to the home site it is from, and it lists article after article that are nonsense. I suspect the "interview" is bogus. Here are some sample lead ins to the other articles.

>>>The Truth behind 9-11 The Story we Hear on the News is simply not believable,<<<

>>>The CIA met Bin Laden while undergoing treatment at an American Hospital last July in Dubai. <<<

>>>>9-11:Bush KNEW Foreknowledge key articles <<<<

>>>>All the desperate lies and spin don't change the fact that the Bush administration had foreknowledge of the Sept.11 attacks, Larry Chin, <<<,

Looks like a good "Conspiracy" site for our posters on the left. here is the URL

CB,

I fail to understand your word parsing with FL.

You quote FL as saying about Brzezinski:

Remember, he fully admitted we lured the USSR in it's own Vietnam in Afghanistan specifically to weaken the Soviet Empire.

You then say:

Not precisely accurate. What he said was:

You paste a question and answer in and the last sentence of B's answer to that question is:

And that very day, I wrote a note to the president in which I explained to him that in my opinion this aid was going to induce a Soviet military intervention

I gather that "induce" in your mind is significantly different from "lure."

Hmmm.
