Do you see it? Brzezinski is careful to NOT say what FL says he said. No, you are making very large mountains out of very little molehills. B uses the verb "induce" to describe what he hoped to do with the Soviet Union in Afghanistan. FL used his own term "lure." It is a difference without a difference. And not worth typing about. Your post to FL caught me in a vulnerable moment. Usually I ignore these kinds of small differences. But my Palm Vx was in a snit and forced me to call Palm about what to do if my Palm claimed I had the wrong password. Dumb Palm. That led me to have to do a hard reset. Frustrating. But we're back, scheduled, contacts, to do lists, all locked and loaded for travel. Now did my Palm "lure" me or "induce" me into spending over an hour trying to fix something that should have taken 10 minutes. ;-)
