Jim, that is exactly right. All these lenders do is shell out easy money, and as quickly as humanly possible sell the loan to the GSEs. This won't come unglued tomorrow, but it will eventually - and when it does it will be very big. Enron will look like small potatoes some day. This will probably happen about the same time as the next crisis in social security - so the government will have several bailouts to deal with at once. Fire up the presses! Sharp
