"You're just playing semantics" No wonder you have so much trouble discussing foreign policy -- you think that positions as fundamentally different as "disarmament" and "regime change" are just playing with semantics. The rest of the world understands the difference. Cheney staked out a position for the US -- regime change -- and Bush put it out there as US policy. We staked out a clear position. Nothing short of regime change will satisfy US policy. Inspectors won't do it. Disarmament won't do it. Only an invasion of Iraq and government overthrow (presumably with the death of Saddam) will satisfy the US. You posted a hundred articles and don't even grasp the basics of the policy debate.

No, he just doesn't understand negotiations. He probably thinks that's where you go into a room and say "if you give a little on this, I'll give a little on that."
