If light volume on the upside pushes the on-balance volume beyond a previous high in the obv and the price breaks out then the piddly volume accomplishes a bullish move in the stock----serving as an early warning along with the OBV. So this can be seen as accumulation.

Now assume that the light volume accompanies a decline in price on the downside-----then the reverse would be true with a decline in the OBV with a breakout to new lows--the piddly volume would indicate distribtuion and not accumulation.

So what do you think----accumulation or distribtuion for the recent light volume?

Just experience, Maria.
