Gee dood I was smiling when I made the comment. I believe for the most part the Packer fans have been kidding and likely not deserving of your wrath. Whatever.

You all have a great season.

Dood......Freeman made 20 million dollars in 3 years for averaging under 1000 yards. We wanted him to take a cut from being the second highest player at his position in the league to 1 million plus incentives. He said he wouldn't do that because we acquired Terry Glenn and Freeman didn't feel he should be a number 2 receiver. Now before we discuss that lets make clear that he caught fewer passes for fewer yards in the 2 previous seasons than Schoeder. SO while he didn't want to be a #2 receiver he played exactly that role - TO BILL SCHROEDER! IN addition he said that the reason he wasn't doing more was because we didn't have anyone on the other side of him to take the pressure off. So, what we have here is a guy getting paid top buck but playing second fiddle to Schroeder. Then when we move to bring in better talent (the thing Freeman said he needed) he didn't like that. Then when we offered him 1 million plus incentives he said that wasn't enough for his skills. He tested the open market, got humbled like Chris Carter and ended up taking less. Freeman is all about Freeman and he doesn't have good hands. He's lost a step and he wouldn't take a pay cut to help a team that paid him 20 million dollars for 3 years of lackluster service. He owed the team, the fans and above all Brett Favre that pay cut to help the team. The selfish bastard wouldn't do that and ended up getting less! So will the Eagles during the season as he drops passes in critical situations. The only reason we were willing to keep him was because we drafted him and he and Favre had worked together. It wasn't because he was THE BEST. Now I respect the fact that you support your team but don't talk out your @$$ about a subject you know nothing about. I have watched Freeman for 7 years+ and his me first attitude doesn't wash on any team - Not just the Packers.

As far as him owing nothing to GB fans I disagree. Every player that puts on the uniform and gets paid owes the fans. They pay a couple thousand dollars a year for seats and EVERY PLAYER OWES THEM!! PERIOD! NO FANS = NO MILLION DOLLAR SALARIES - THEY OWE US!
