Hi G, I write this note to you because i have come to believe that you are the last bastion of sanity on this thread. So i have a new idea(for me anyway) and want to run it by you first. How about an Oil Boycott of our own to make us less dependent on foreign oil? Driveless mondays! A move to smaller cars? Rebuilding the rails(hopeless?) to get these huge trucks off the roads so folks can feel safe driving smaller vehicles. Liberals should like it for conservation implications and conservatives for its realpolitik. Beats screwing up Jacob in Alaska. mike
