I don't think the Patriots won because Glenn was suspended. The discipline of him may have played a role but it was by NO MEANS the only reason they won. Did he become a distraction and the odd man out? Yep. Well guess what........Antonio Freeman, making 5 million a year, caught 52 balls and had just over 800 yards receiving was just as big a problem for us. He didn't play to the standards of his contract nor did Glenn in N.E. When that happens teams unload those players and sometimes they go onto shine and sometimes they fail. On pure athletic talent Glenn wins hands down. We'll just have to see how the other independent variables play out. By no means have I proclaimed Glenn to be the answer nor has anyone else in Green Bay. I outlined the ups and downs on our acquisition of him. There are ups and downs for the Eagles with Freeman as well. I'm glad we made a proactive move myself. It beats the hell out of staying with something that hasn't been working. After all - thats why N.E. got rid of Glenn, we got rid of Freeman and the Eagles Signed Freeman isn't it?
