As for there not being enough gold, the goldbugs point out that at $4000 an ounce (or is it $7000 an ounce?) there should be plenty to go 'round. These being the same guys who have been holding onto it for decades, waiting for it to come back in style.

Not that it's ever completely out of style. According to goldbugs, even after a nuclear holocaust somebody will be willing to trade food for gold. Probably another goldbug.;^)
