Jimbob...

I'll be in attendance Sunday when the Seattle SeaChickens open up their new stadium. I'm really interested to see the new digs....

Now we just need a team.

Yup, the Stillirs sucked big time. They should fire Cowher, cut Kordel & move the team to another city <gg>.

The Patriots were the better team last night. Of that there was no doubt JW.

"first and goal on the one yard line... no touchdown"

Um, actually they did score a touchdown on that drive. It was negated by a penalty (false start), but several replays from multiple angles, in real time & slo mo, clearly showed absolutely no movement until the ball was snapped. Al Michaels & John Madden both agreed it was a bad call. And that totally changed the complexion of the game.

It doesn't change the fact that NE had an outstanding game plan & the Stillirs should have not allowed themselves to come unglued.

"no Patriot turnovers"

They did have one.

"the new Gillette Stadium was AWESOME AWESOME"

Sure is. ABC did a great job showing off the stadium & many of the neat accoutrements.

"the Steelers might advance to the playoffs"

Yup, they should. They seem to always start slow under Cowher & continuously improve as the season progresses. I doubt that they will regress much from having the # 1 overall defense & the # 3 overall offense last year. That in itself should get them to the playoffs. If they can improve their special teams modestly, they could go all the way.
