The west coast is indeed a continent away from New York. If Ilived in Asia it would be more accurate to say a different continent, or an ocean away. That said, you didn't respond to the substance of the message. What do you feel about the level of attention being paid to this anniversary? We didn't even pay this much attention to the anniversary of JFK's assassination, which was a far more traumatic event in my own life, and I think in the lives of many of my generation.
