11 years since Gulf War
4 years since clinton/daschle/gore proposed war to resume inspection in 1998
3 years since inspectors booted and clinton and Kofi annan did nothing

some knee jerk!
Same with terror. Until 9/11 no president including the current one would tackle this problem or Osama. Some like Clinton had ships blow up on them. Reagan bowed out after lebanon and so on. If 9/11 hadnt happened Bush would have been negligent as well.
But 9/11 was a wakeup call for him. What motivates his policy is to prevent Saddam from sneaking up on us and doing the same thing to an unprepared America that bin laden did. Maybe he is wrong but he certainly is not a traitor as you imply.
And yes we should release all el quaida prisoners because they were not properly mirandized! NOT
