Why should real estate crack? Rents keep rising. There's a housing shortage. Housing supply is way behind demand and demographics point to sustained demand. Building is very difficult because homesites are scarce, and development is politically difficult. Condo development is stalled because builders cant get liability insurance for building defects.

yup, there aren't many shoes left to drop! Retail and homes are the only ones left and retail is not looking so great anymore.
