I have been talking about the "cost" to the US of our poor performance in foreign policy on Iraq right from the beginning and all along and consistently -- that has been THE SUBJECT all along. You just randomly post newspaper articles.

Changing the subject's not a bad idea - Bush doesn't go before the UN until Thursday.

Alternative subjects are commercial real estate, "the housing bubble - is there or isn't there", consumer credit, mortgage defaults, security technology companies, the future of CitiGroup, dividend yields in 1900, or even Amazon. Oh, and John wants someone to discuss "immi" policy. ;-)
