Windsor Toronto/Detroit corridor pumpin out the pollutants. So Ont Gov says, clean up your cars....start a revenue sucker that cleans the pockets.

Works so good they expand up the St. Lawrence to towns of 400 cars..LOL...Just another government tax grab.

Couple that with some monkey fisted jerk, who is going to put your car on a hoist, walk around, slash a couple of CV boots, and drop a little oil all around your transmission seals and....voila....da bill $1456.00

When I had the dealership , I had to review whether an emision testing station was suitable for our service dept.

After reviewing the costs involved and the expected revenue, it was quite clear that the operations were intended to be a hidden tax grab for the government and please the tree huggers more than a benefit to motorists.

For my expenditure, I would receive hassle from the government and constant bickering from customers . I passed on the offer and was glad to . It was only voluntary in my area at the time to be set up to do them , but looking at how all this is transpiring , I am glad I stayed away. It is a public relations nightmare for the Auto industry with little or no benefit to the Atmosphere.
