IC - if that is indeed the case - then pray tell - why do Arab states and the Arab League support Saddam and side with him in issues against the West? Why do they continue to portray the West and the United States in particular as evil? Why with so many oil $$ at hand are there so many poor Arabs? Why do they continue to support the Egyptian terrorist Arafat - even after he turned down Barak's offer to allow them to create a Palestinian state on the West Bank and Gaza? Why do the Palestinians continue to tolerate Arafat - why can't they have one of their own lead them? If Saddam attacks Israel and Israel responds with nuclear weapons - on any Arab state - then there will be very few tears shed in the West. David.
