OT - You prompt me to rant on Ashcroft. (Don't ask how I make the connection <ggg>) IMO his primary job is our security as he is the chief law enforcement officer. If he is having success in breaking into al quaida cells the public should be the last to know about it and should want it that way for the continued success of the anti-terror effort. What we do know is that we have been terror-free for a year and that there were other 9/11 hijack crews that were unsuccessful. Hopefully, Ashcroft is beating the holy living sh__ out of them this very minute.

Knip,
I really appreciate the thoughts. This year is different than last for me. Last year i was filled with hate--this year with love for my brothers and sisters here in NY, black and white, Jew, Christian, Moslem, Sikh, and Hindu(all of whom i interact with daily at work). I am a better person this year. Its just very hard for me to listen to what sounds like the Stalinist left on this board rant and rave over a president who perhaps has yet to prove himself fully but certainly has not failed as their hero President Clinton did in his term. Again thanks for the kind words. I will be on the streets of NY tomorrow and will report back when i can. Was supposed to go to the beach with my daughter and grandson but i must finish what i consider to be my years service. Mike
