Looks like a way for Moe to pick up a shi* load of shares "on the cheap". He could never go in to the market and by 50 million shares for what he can get the compay to issue them for. Maybe he doesn't get all 50mm, but I bet he gets a scoop. I learned today that Veritas has a standstill agreement with PGO so it could not come back and be a buyer of PGO as has been speculated on this board. I also leaned (news to me, but maybe not others) that the PGO bank debt that is "way off" is on extremely attractive terms. I agree with others that the banks on the hook for the notes coming due next year will bitch and moan, but will in the end give new terms. Load da boat. big
