Dealer, I remain very flexible. I've moved out further recently, but over the summer I played the near month quite a bit, and did very well, especially 6 or so weeks ago as I posted the positions back then.

Very risky but the most substantial positions I'd taken all year turned out great. Fortunate.

Still cautious, very cautious.

Opportunities. Money to be made. This volatility can provide those opportunities, but it's not easy of course.

With options, I still practice, most of the time, that if it turns against me, I get out immediately. Then don't look back. Move on.

Dealer,

The biggest problem with buying current month options is if you're wrong on direction OR on immediate timing of your anticipated move, you don't leave yourself any time to recover.

Take this FWIW, I'm certainly no expert on options. Good luck.
