Well, you didn't mention Pakistan, but that's a whole tragedy unto itself but could evolve into a mere horror story with cessation of Saudi funding. I believe Musharef is honestly interested in weaning Pakistan off Islamic extremism and building the foundations of a stable, democratic state. I was unconvinced the mastermind of Kargil was such until I read some of Iqbal Latif's posts on the matter. He's a very reasonable man and a lot closer to the "action" than I, so I take him at his word that Mush is our man. Derek
