JRI: I tend to agree with you...yet, for some reason the NeoCon Warhawks in the Bush Admin. (like Cheney and Rumsfeld) want to pre-empt and go to war with Iraq...period...with OR without allies. IMO, that will be very dangerous and The U.S. would be setting a precedent that others might follow...Its much more desireable to work with The U.N. and The Security Council to clamp down on Iraq / Saddam and focus on meaningful disarmament.
