Well, I think everything you say is probably true. (And I am LOL- did you really say "scaredy woman talk?!!")

Talk of selling one's home is always an emotional conversation, I think. But, if as many here believe, the housing market is in the process of bubbling, it's hard to be sanguine about watching one's equity rise only to watch it fall back again- especially after just having gotten off that same roller coaster ride in the stock market. But most of us probably will do just that, for many of the reasons you cite.

Having said that, if prices go much higher I'm outta here!
