scooter here's the book: amazon.com i picked it up from the library 'cause i like the author, but it's a departure from his usual style. you would have to read it and let me know if its accurate in its depiction of today's vietnam. good luck with your legal beagle today. we're were thinking of escaping the day and heading out on the boat to enjoy the weather but we're expecting a phone call any time now from friends heading down this way from alaska. i don't really mind - gives me a chance to putter in the yard (my true love). hi to yen. rosita
