re: Durak's words - For you to twist my words to make it seem that I'm not a patriot is just an indication of how warped and sick your world-view is.

Patriot indeed;

the war against red coats was provoked by boston tea party - our fault

we invaded france and not other way around - wwii is our fault too

same is for wwi - our fault

pearl harbor would never happened if US ships would not be there in the 1st place - our fault

I wonder how durak define the word 'patriot'?

In Support of a decent America:

"To announce that there must be no criticism of the president, or that we are to stand by the President right or wrong, is not only unpatriotic and servile, but is morally treasonable to the American public." --Theodore Roosevelt

"I Hear America Sinking: George Bush Pulls a Grieving Nation into War"

villagevoice.com

Quote: "The problem for America is that evil and wicked are exactly what the world thinks of us."

And so do I. Not the American public, of course. They are as decent as any people across the globe. But our government aggression and our foreign policy is not something that Americans would willingly impose on themselves. So why should the U.S. government, being misled by a mad cabal of religious extremists be allowed to trampl the rest of the world?

In the words of a patriot: "Finally, sir, have you no decency?" Unfortunately for all, you've made it abundantly clear that you do not. Good bye.
