Paul. <today's opening begged to be shorted>

FWIW, think you have the right market read.

And yes, no question about this being a tough market to trade.

Think I made a post a long time ago about Bear Markets, in their later stages, becoming more and more a battle of pro vs pro. With public participation way down, there are fewer easy marks to get to hold the bag on the other side of the trade<g>. So it can get pretty brutal out there.

Hence, the habit of many veterans from previous Bear Markets to keep plenty of cash in the sock, no matter how much lipstick is put on this pig market from time to time.<g>

Cash range I work within extends from 50% or a bit less when I'm hoping for a Bear Market rally to 75%-80% when it looks like time to hunker down.

What do you like on the short side?
