OT I saw pictures on TV of southern politicians and police using attack dog against African Americans attempting to integrate schools. It is a fact that all but 2 southern senators signed a statement opposing the Supreme Court's Brown vs the Board of Education decision. That was a while ago, but not that long ago. RE: "...every confederate a white supremist..." What would you call people who secede and fight a war to protect the institution of slavery? RE: "Powell" I don't want to comment on Powell because I don't know his personal history and beliefs. I would only suggest you compare the careers and views of Thurgood Marshall and Clarence Thomas and decide who you would want defending you and fighting for your rights and right to equality. I believe that Thomas is "tokenism" and "Uncle Tomism" at its worst.
