Judgment is taking it upon oneself to state unequivocally that another had done something wrong.

Reproof is bringing the person's behavior to their attention and challenging them to examine it for themselves. It is not "I say you did something wrong," but "I believe that if you re-examine your behavior here, you will see yourself that you did something wrong."

Big difference.

My original statement, if you go back to it, was not a judgment. It was a statement of assumption -- "I take it you're not a Christian."

An I statement, not a you statement.
