What do the Saudi's have to gain by doing this?

I say they do it because they are compassionate, and they are as true friends, as any of the friends we have.

And I say they are not friends. At this particular time in history they are ass kissers and what they have to gain ( the rulers )is keeping their so called throne and keeping their dictatorship over Arabia in tact. If the common people of Arabia ever get a whiff of actual freedom the house of saud will become extinct very quickly. so what they have to gain is that they get to keep their heads for a while longer.
