Has anyone tried offering 120 percent?

And have Israel self-destruct? I'm sure you'd like that! Have you looked at how small Israel is? Why is the demand always that a country that has 0.06% of the land in the Mideast do the giving? I have a bright idea, if the other Arabs want their dear Palestinian brothers to have a homeland (after all, they always say they do), why don't they chip anything into the offer? After all, they have 99.94% of the land. Why didn't they give the Palestinians a starter "homeland" when they held the West Bank and Gaza? Because they just want to keep fighting Israel down to the last Palestinian, that's why. And the Palestinians, incorrigible idiots that they are, keep behaving as if the cavalry really were about to ride over the hill for them.

If they had a homeland they wouldn't have to fight for it!

They were offered a homeland (with water rights, btw), why didn't they take it? are they waiting for the Angel Gabriel to descend from Heaven with the perfect offer? Seems to me that they are much more interested in fighting against a homeland (Israel) than for a homeland (Palestine).

The suicide bombers do not represent the Palestinians. Don't let the radical elements of a society have so much influence...that's what they want. The Palestinians are in need of assistance so help them out.

I'd sure love to take this good advice; unfortunately it's hard not to let the leaders of a society have influence, especially when they are dictators who shoot the opposition. Furthermore the Palestinians approve of suicide bombing. As Bernard Lewis said recently, asking Yasser Arafat to give up terrorism was like asking Tiger Woods to give up golf. The terrorists are on Arafat's own payroll. If Arafat is losing his grip on power now, it is thanks to actions of the IDF, which have associated the terror strategy with defeat, not victory. And now, less terror is happening, and the PLC is demanding reform. Funny thing, that. Weren't you one of the voices claiming that military actions would only strengthen Arafat? Time for a reality check.

I believe a US foreign policy that moves towards the middle will reduce the terrorist acts against the US

What is the "middle" between a two state solution and a one state solution that doesn't include Israel? That is the sort of "middle" the Arabs are interested in. Clearly, Clinton went to bat for the two-state solution and only got a slap in the face from the whole Arab world for his pains. And again, moving towards this phantom "middle" as a result of terror attacks will greatly encourage the terrorists. I think it's smarter to discourage them.
