k49 - There are many paths to God - but the Koran isn't one of them - how can anyone follow a "faith" filled with so much hate and intolerance? The Arabs have failed to do anything useful with their oil $$ - it just helps to fill the bank accounts of a tiny minority - while the average Arab guy in the street lives an impoverished life. Then again, why should I care? The President needs to lay forth a grand vision and strategy for energy self-sufficiency. The brain power is there to achieve that goal, as are the $$. He needs to offer a challenge to the country as Kennedy did with the space program. Once achieved, the Arab world can drift back to obscurity. I'm sure they would be much happier sitting around eating dates under the palms, or riding their camels through the desert. The Arab states have shown time and time again that they are incapable of living in and contributing to a modern day world. David.
