Dr. S,It depends on how you define surrender. Admission that intifada 2 was a disaster and that THEIR Leader(s) should be held responsible. Here is people who have been victimized entirely by their own leadership, religious and political. There would be no Israelis on a good part of Israel now and certainly no Israeli settlers if they had either accepted the partition in 1947 or the status quo in 1967. But they have been used and manipulated by the Arab politicians who use palestinian misery and anti-semitism as political tools for their own survivals and by the so-called religious leaders who make a mockery of their faith.
But people can learn. I continue to have some hope. And i hope if that hope is even a glimmer that there will be an Israeli leader left to "Keep Hope Alive". mike
9/12 I feel a bit better today. Yesterday was a great day for those of us "downtown".
