08:32 ET Jobless Claims higher than expected in holiday week The 19K increase in claims to 426K was significantly higher than expected and will be a slight negative for the market this morning, but as we noted in the preview, these figures are for the Labor Day holiday week, and claims are often more volatile during holiday weeks, so we would wait for another week's figures before making much of this increase.
