It has everything to do with a respectful debate. If you prefer to sidle up to someone who starts a debate by calling someone an asshole, don't be surprised if you get the same return treatment. And, for the record, I don't believe JLA has ever begun a debate that way, despite his exaggerated reputation for inflammatory language (which you "have a beef with" lol).

Inflammatory language has its place. "Give me liberty or give me death", for example. And Patrick Henry Pearse's oration at the funeral of O'Donovan Rossa in 1915 was the spark that started the Easter Rising. Sometimes we need a jolt to get inspired.

Message 17983600 If you follow Bill's postings with any regularity, you see that his main argumentation technique is subject-changing. He has managed to change the subject in this case from the sad fact that among them, GZ, JLA, and he called two other posters traitors yesterday, that the first act in this drama was a false accusation of treason and making a bomb threat, and that a poster was reported on the basis of misinterpretation to the FBI, Secret Service, etc to a really HUGE event: E called the false accuser an asshole. This by "It-has-everything-to-do-with-a-respectful-debate"- Bill. Who called two posters traitors and who called me a little puke.
