UN to enforce all the resolutions calling for Israel's end of the occupation of the West Bank

Hey, they agreed to end it, and Arafat turned them down.

Does this also imply the US will want the UN to enforce all the resolutions calling for Israel's end of the occupation of the West Bank and the Gaza strip?

Selective amnesia.

Excellent point.

Jcky,

We have to start somewhere and Iraq is as good a place as any.

But having started, and set precedent - I would be worried if I were a hardline Israeli or Palestinian. There will be ample pressure to move both sides to an agreement on the territories.

To say that we must bend Israeli will alone is an oversimplification - compromise will be required on both sides.
