I still feel the bottom is not in yet. John Shannon has it exactly right...lackluster economic growth will not drive an overpriced stock market upward.

A problem comes about when trying to apply a general theme (mkt overvalued) to specific stocks. Some stocks like oracle have continued to rise while the naz has collapsed from 1700 to 1200. Others like cisco and Dell are holding. There are certainly plenty of obvious shorts in tech... I'd start with hwp and sunw for two, but shorting co's trading at a mkt cap of double their cash position with P/s's of 1- seems like a risky proposition to me, unless they are losing share.

Well, aren't you worried about your portfolio? If you aren't, then I'd wonder why not. Mostly, my posts have been an attempt to drum up new ideas on where one should put their money nowadays. Stocks and bonds both look iffy to me. If so, then where should you put your money?
