Sir Winnie was also the man who as chancellor of the exchequer in what, '25, put sterling back on the gold standard at a fix of the pre-war rate, even though they'd been printing fiat with abandon in the meantime ... which led directly to deflation and hard times in the UK, with the keynesians winning the print/restraint debate ... Keynes wrote a book at the time, harsh title, can't recall it just now

.. so that's what you meant in your cryptic second paragraph above [thought you might be referring to one or more of the Chaostans] .... i can't keep up with all this and watch the sharemarket too in available online time
