That's the nuances of meaning to the word 'concession' ... there's only a small dictionary right here, but it gives - '3. something conceded by a government or a controlling authority, as a grant of land, a privilege, or a franchise' ... so it is not fixed as 'outright fee simple ownership'

Historically the term 'concession' has often meant in Latinoamérica the granting of absolute title to large areas, with little or no benefit accruing to the local people, and in many cases they were actively or effectively enslaved as the labour source .... understandably, attitudes toward land tenure have been affected by this ... the venezolanos want to make the best deal they can get, and it looks like they believe that kry has made them the most attractive offer, to contract operation for a percentage ... it just remains to be seen how kry expects to get financed, but as Ing says it is probable that they will have foreseen the question

glr.a - do you have handy the url to that unofficial Gold Reserve website, Vet? ... they don't have a company site yet, do they, at least stockwatch doesn't yet show one .... i do agree with you, it's worth a hard look .... likely kry expects to deal with them at some time, but is lining up ducks right now, to do so from a position of strength ... very logical thing that Brisas be combined with LC though
