very ot/Bob. Sci Fi. Hmmmmm....

Almost hate to admit going through a phase where I had to read about every Nebula or Hugo Award winner available. Clifford Simak, Larry Niven, Arthur C. Clarke, and Asimov were all favs. In fact, Asimov wrote one of the early trilogies in the genre: Foundation. Believe it was originally published back in the late 1950s.

In recent years, the Star Wars franchise has drawn in some good writers, such as Timothy Zahn and Kevin Anderson. Both have NY Times best sellers in their list of credits.

A variety of additional Star Wars Trilogies, as well as a number of good single novels, have come out since the first movie in 1977. Doubt they'll go the film route. But, they are good reads for those too impatient to be interested in much other than action fiction, as I once was.

The Jedi Academy Trilogy and The Black Fleet Crisis are two that come to mind.

Guess that's more than enough pulp fiction OT from me for one night<g>

Regards,

Iso
